Did you ever hear how to trap a monkey? This is not a joke. Chain a box to a tree, place a nut in side and cut a small hole in the top. When the monkey comes along, he will reach inside to grab it, but won't be able to pull his hand back out with the nut inside.
He will then want the nut so badly that even when you come to catch him, he won't let go and run away. And you will have caught your monkey.
Apparently the same is true of human babies.
