Not so very long ago, in a little village far away called Potomac, the remaining stateside Wilcox family gathered for a Christmas celebration. There was Grandma Wilcox and Grandpa Wilcox; there was Uncle Spencer and Uncle Matt; as well as Mama, Daddy, and Baby Carson.
Christmas isn't quite the same without little ones. There doesn't seem to be as much need for the Nativity Plays or the homemade Christmas candy. And there isn't the eager anticipation on Christmas Eve or the mad Christmas morning rush for the stockings. (Unless you're my 25 year old brother, Paul.) But this Christmas, we began to see inklings of what it will be like in a year or two as we watched little Baby Carson tear and devour his wrapping paper--and even some of his presents.
While we did get out and enjoy the mild weather with some site seeing, I didn't remember to bring a camera with me anywhere else. Just imagine pictures of us at Crystal Grotto Caverns, Antietam, Mount Vernon, Alexandria, and Great Falls. So here are pictures of Christmas morning:
Baby's First Christmas

Oh yeah, and we were there too.
With Grandma Wilcox and Uncle Matt,

And Uncle Spencer and Grandpa Wilcox.
Fun and presents were had by all.
Although we did miss Uncle Logan and Aunt Sarah and the cousisns in China, as well as Uncle Taylor who is skiing in India.
Powder to the People, Taylor.

Hey! I just found your blog while visiting Destiny's. I got excited because it said you live in CO as I do...but then I saw that you moved to Idaho. :( We have been here in CO for 1 year now and love it. How is life? Your son is adorable! You look beautiful and happy.
That picture of Carson standing and facing the tree is perfect for the moment. Love it...
You quite possibly have the cutest baby in the world
